At Ninja School the white belt represents the theoretic stage of being a Ninja. New information is in abundance and the student must work through the theoreticals before he or she can start to apply the information into techniques and principles...
Once all four stripes have been awarded at any given grade there is a minimum two week waiting period before the student receives his or her next belt. The grading system is designed this way to make sure students are transferring the mental & emotional skills learned at Ninja School into their home & school environments. It also gives the student time to learn our expectation of them as they reach the next stage of their Ninja Journey...
At the end of this two week period we will consult with the students guardians as a final confirmation that they are ready.
Four Element Development
- Learning to tie his or her belt independently.
Brazilian Jiujitsu Terminology:
- Demonstrating - Full-mount, Side-control, Closed-guard and Back-mount.
- Being able to hit a target 2 metres away with a 70% accuracy rate, (out of 10 shuriken).
- 5 push-ups, fully postured.
- 5 sit-ups , un aided.
